New work for the Skull and Skeleton show at Lakeland Community College

Shirley O'Neil and I drove over to Lakeland Community College yesterday to check our the current exhibition.

HEY MARY you sure went all out this year.  All I can say is WOW.
You can check out the evolving link to the show at
www.lakelandcc.edu/gallery  or type the www address in if the link does not work.

Those of you who are familiar with my claywork know I usually use the theme of the heart to make small sculptural objects, not skulls.
I really enjoyed stepping out of my comfort zone to participate in this skull and skeleton themed show.  Thanks Mary and Lakeland Community College for the opportunity to participate in  this show.
I am a graduate and former adjunct faculty member of Lakeland Community College.  Years ago Michael Gentile and I had a two person show at the college when my first ceramic teacher George Somogyi was still the gallery director.
And the spiral of life continues to unfurl---

Of course, these three images posted can be seen at the show.
You can find additional sculptures such as the three church ladies, the thinker and the worker.  I will post additional skulls over the next few days.
