Friday, August 20 2010 to Wednesday, September 15 2010 and will end with a closing reception on Saturday, September 11th from 3-6pm. "The Lillstreet International is a juried exhibition that is designed to address contemporary issues in and the ever-changing scope of ceramic art. The exhibition is open to all artists working in clay. This year the focus is bowls, versatile and functional forms that offer many opportunities for experimentation and diversity in form as well as surface, glaze and firing. Celebrating Kent and the artwork created here. All of the art is postcard size (4" x 6"). This is a benefit for our neighbor, KSU School of Art's Downtown Gallery. This unique gallery has made it's home in Downtown Kent for the past 12 years. When: An opening reception will be held on Saturday October 24th from 5:00 to 8:00pm and the exhibit will be on display until November 14th.
