Happy New Year
to All.
With 2016 behind us and 2017 beginning I wanted to thank
everyone for your friendship, patronage and continued support in
helping to create a world where clay work has a place.
I continue to explore texture and glaze on the small sculptural objects
I make such as the hearts and with the functional work pattern and
contrast with the wax resist technique. Two days a week I still
work at McGregor Retirement Community facilitating art therapy
projects. I can hardly believe I have been there 5 years.
And on Wednesdays, I continue to teach privately out of my
studio. This schedule sometimes gives me Thursday through
Sunday to immerse myself in studio work.
I already have started the New Year with the possibility of having two
new wholesale accounts, one in Texas and one in Cincinnati, Ohio, and
two private clay parties scheduled so the journey
continues to unfold.
The studio classes will begin one week from today on January
11th. There now are 6 wheels and a slabroller in
the studio.
