Assembling Clay Shapes

I really do make other things besides hearts.  These two images show the concept stage of an organic flower shape.  I have been making many smaller clay shapes in order to assemble them  into larger shapes like this organic flower.  The flower made it through the bisque firing and is waiting to be glazed.  I am getting ready for a show at Lakeland Community College next month.  The work needs to be delivered in a few weeks.  Off to the studio to glaze for a few hours tonight while listening to the Grammy Awards.

Love the forms! Reminds me of the small touchstones I used to give my girls when they were small :) put this in your pocket and if you're fretting touch the stone and it will get better..... They always worked and always felt so wonderful in the palm of your hand....... When life was a bit easier.
